Kroger: Back to normal today after some Miami Valley fuel centers run out of gas

XENIA — UPDATE, Noon 11/29/21:

No additional fuel shortages have been reported, and Kroger fuel centers are operating normal today, according to a Kroger spokesperson.

FIRST REPORT 11/26/21:

One motorist told News Center 7 that the Kroger Fuel Center in Xenia was out of 87 and 89 octane gas on Friday morning.

Motorists in some parts of the Miami Valley are seeing no fuel or low fuels signs at select Kroger locations.

News Center 7 reached out to Kroger’s corporate office who provided the following statement:

“Our supplier is currently undergoing maintenance contributing to fuel shortages at select Kroger locations in the Cincinnati/Dayton area. We are currently monitoring the issue and have deliveries on the way from a secondary supplier.”
