KETTERING — UPDATE @ 6:42 p.m.: Eva-Joy Humphreys, the subject of a local critical missing alert, has been located and she is safe, Kettering Police Department officials said in a social media post.

A 63-year-old Kettering woman is the focus of a local critical missing alert issued by the police department.
Eva-Joy Humphreys was last seen or heard from Monday, when she called in to her job for a sick day.
The Kettering Police Department on Wednesday afternoon released a photo of Humphreys and a Facebook post describes her as white and of Hawaiian ancestry, 5 feet tall and 140 pounds.
She has black hair and brown eyes.
According to the police department’s social media, police are checking on the woman’s welfare as her family is concerned for her safety.
