In surveillance video posted to the police department’s Facebook page Wednesday, a man is seen approaching the home’s front porch and picking up a large blue duffel bag sitting on the porch.

The theft happened on Benfield Drive, according to Kettering police.

The man then takes the bag and puts it in an SUV parked in front of the home and drives off.

Police posted a second surveillance video at a different home Thursday morning that shows what appears to be the same man leaving the same vehicle and ringing the doorbell at the home. He briefly picks up a package on the porch, but then puts it down and goes back to the SUV.

Anyone with information on the theft should contact Officer Bier at 937-296-2555 or 937-296-2557.
