“The City of Kettering is beginning an internal investigation that has implicated the City’s EEO Policy 610,” City Manager Mark Schwieterman said in a letter to Mills Klein notifying her of being placed on paid administrative leave. “You will be placed on paid administrative leave until otherwise determined.”
The City’s EEO Policy 610 covers equal opportunity and non-discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment and applicants/employees with disabilities, according to records obtained by News Center 7.
It’s not immediately clear what Mills Klein was specifically accused of doing.
News Center 7 has requested additional records from the city of Kettering and are awaiting those requests to be filled.
Jenny Smith has been named the new Human Resources Director.
