1 hurt in motorcycle crash at Dayton Racino

UPDATE @ 9:30 p.m.: The motorcycle rider is expected to be OK after falling off his bike in a crash at the Dayton Racino, Dayton Sgt. Brian Hannah said.

Police are continuing to investigate what led to the crash, which occurred when the man on the bike apparently lost control of the vehicle and hit a curb, the sergeant said.

Police aren’t sure yet whether the man had been at the facility prior to the accident, the officer said.

The rider’s name and age were not immediately available.

FIRST REPORT

Police and a medic are on the scene of a motorcycle accident on the property of the Dayton Racino.

One person who was on the bike has been taken to Miami Valley Hospital. The condition of the male is not available.

Crime scene tape has been put up at the scene, the 700 block of Hollywood Boulevard, the road which surrounds the Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway.

Dayton and a Huber Heights medic were dispatched to the incident was dispatched at 6:46 p.m. as an injury accident.
