Tonight in downtown Troy was the traditional painting of the giant strawberries as the 41st annual Troy Strawberry Festival is set to begin Friday night.
This year's Strawberry Queen Sierra Simon and her court joined the community in getting the task done.
The festival continues Saturday and Sunday in downtown Troy and along the river levee.
The theme this year is Silver Screen Berries.
