Garage converted into home burns in Ludlow Falls

LUDLOW FALLS — A garage that was converted into a home on State Route 48 in the village of Ludlow Falls caught fire, however everyone was able to get out safely, firefighters told News Center 7.

The fire happened around 10 a.m. in the 2300 block of State Route 48.

Firefighters said the building was heavily damaged and they are still working to determine what caused it to catch fire.

The homeowner told News Center 7 he had converted the garage into a home for his son to live in.
