Funeral services set for today for victim of Dayton double homicide

DAYTON — Loved ones will gather today to celebrate the life of a women killed in a double homicide in Dayton late last month.

Felicia “Fefe” Brown’s visitation will take place at 11 a.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home on Needmore Road Saturday morning, followed by funeral services.

News Center 7 previously reported that Dayton officers arrived at the Shell gas station on W. Third Street around 5 a.m. on Feb. 26 after the clerk hit a silent alarm.

When they got on scene, the clerk directed officers to a black Chevrolet Suburban that was parked at one of the pumps. That was where police found two women, 38-year-old Brown and 44-year-old Michaela Daniels, shot inside the vehicle. They were later pronounced dead on scene.

Deante Holden, 32, was indicted Wednesday by a Montgomery County grand jury on four counts each of murder and felonious assault, as well as three counts of tampering with evidence.

Brown is survived by her two children, along with her mother and father.

Managers at the York Common Boulevard branch of Day Air Credit Union confirmed to WHIO that a fund to help pay for funeral services and the care and potential college expenses of her oldest child has been established.
