Surveillance footage has been released that shows officers tackling a man into the front window of an Oregon District business.

According to the post on Heart Mercantile’s Facebook page, the business received several calls from their security company and friends around 2:20 a.m. Sunday saying the front window was smashed out.

According to a Dayton police report, Jarrod Dunn, 25, was arrested on several charges, including obstructing official business. He is due to appear in court today.

The video shows officers running after a man and tackling him into a window. They pull the man onto the ground as glass shatters.

“Our friends and neighbors immediately came to our rescue. The staff at Ned’s and Hole rushed over to help, stand guard for more police to arrive, ensure our property was protected, and then boarded it up securely for us. They helped clean up and handle the situation while the police report was filed,” Heart Mercantile wrote in the post.

This incident comes a couple days after the business announced that co-owner Amanda Hensler was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer.

Customers have also already raised over $25,000 to help Hensler with her medical costs.
