DAYTON — The Dayton Foodbank will be hosting a food drive this afternoon for North Dayton residents.
It will take place at the Dixie Twin Drive-In from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on the 6200 block of N. Dixie Drive and is a drive-thru event, according to a Foodbank spokesperson.

For food preparation and safety purposes, people are asked not to arrive before noon.
Guests will receive fresh produce, proteins, grains, and other products free of charge.
Turkeys will not be distributed at the event due to inflation, according to the Foodbank. Cornish hens will be distributed in their place.
