Electrical issues a possible factor in fire that damaged Tipp City house

Electrical issues are being investigated as a possible cause of a fire that broke out in a Tipp City house Tuesday morning.

Investigators said the house was an unoccupied rental property and no injuries were reported.

Crews responded to the home in the 600 block of Rohrer Drive around 7:50 a.m. and reported smoke coming from the roof of the house.

While electrical issues are being investigated as a possible cause of the fire, the fire remains under investigation, according to fire officials.

Firefighters are battling a reported attic fire in a Tipp City home on Rohrer Drive Tuesday morning.

Crews responded around 7:50 a.m. to the home in the 600 block of Rohrer Drive and reported smoke coming from the roof of the home.
