“The district work with a professional pest management company on a regular schedule at all buildings,” read a Facebook post on the district’s page. “Individual issues are always addressed as they arise.”
The district told this news organization that the treatment was part of an individual incident that took a life of its own on social media.
It was not clear if the district found any bed bugs in the building.
During student and staff breaks, such as Christmas or spring break, the district also does a “more comprehensive treatment.”
Fairborn schools’ spring break is April 15-22.
