Fairborn cell phone store is latest target of overnight break-ins

FAIRBORN — Fairborn police responded to a break-in at the Cricket Wireless cell phone store early Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred at 85 E. Dayton Yellow Springs Road just after 1 a.m.

There were visible signs of forced entry with glass on the ground from the front door being broken into, according to our crew on the scene.

Police said nothing was stolen, but property inside the business was damaged.

Police continue to investigate the incident and whether the break-in is related to the string of other overnight break-ins that occurred in both Kettering and Miamisburg earlier this week.
