Dayton police ask for public’s help finding witnesses to deadly motorcycle crash

DAYTON — The Dayton Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding possible witnesses to a deadly motorcycle crash that happened on July 30.

The crash involving a motorcycle and dump truck was first reported just before 7 a.m. on I-75 South near Stanley Avenue. The driver of the motorcycle was killed in the accident.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or with information is asked to contact Det. D. McDonald with the Traffic Services Unit at 937-333-1141.

Police are attempting to reach out to the drivers of a black pickup truck, a straight box truck and a semi truck, who are believed to possibly have critical information about the crash.
