DAYTON — A Dayton man pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday to distributing fentanyl and cocaine that resulted on six overdoses late New Year’s Eve, into New Year’s Day 2019.
Kelsey Williams, Jr., 40, was indicted by a federal grand jury in the Southern District of Ohio in May 2021. He was arrested the next month on Minnesota.

Williams distributed a fentanyl and cocaine mixture on New Year’s Eve 2018 and New Year’s Day 2019, according to court documents. The mixture resulted in six overdoses, four of which were fatal.
Williams faces up to 20 years to life in prison for distributing a controlled substance that results in death or serious bodily injury.

Williams is scheduled to sentenced on April 13 at 1:30 p.m.
