DAYTON — A Dayton motorist was indicted Tuesday on 10 charges connected to the February death of a 57-year-old man struck by a vehicle on Free Pike.
Charley R. Strickland, 38, was indicted by a grand jury on four counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, two counts of OVI, two counts of aggravated vehicular assault and two counts of vehicular assault, records show.

Strickland is the accused driver in the crash, which killed Juan Roddy of Dayton, records showed.
According to police, Roddy was hit by a suspected intoxicated driver as he was checking a chain attached to a vehicle he was towing.
Strickland was booked Tuesday afternoon into the Montgomery County Jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday, online jail records show.
