Dayton man accused of sending sexual pictures to child on Facebook

DAYTON — A Dayton man is facing 10 felony charges after he was indicted Thursday for allegedly sending a child inappropriate photos on Facebook Messenger.

Jonathan Richard Cherry, 20, faces four counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material and six counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

According to prosecutors, Cherry sent “inappropriate photos of a sexual nature” to the child through the social media app.

Cherry was arrested March 6 by Moraine police and is due Tuesday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court for his arraignment.
