A local attorney is representing one of the men thrown off a ride at the Ohio State Fair late last month.
Michael Wright is representing 42-year-old Russell Franks who is currently in critical condition, according to Wright.
Wright said Franks has had ten surgeries thus far, all while in a medically-induced coma. Plans are being made to file a lawsuit, but a defendant has yet to be named.
“There’s a lot that’s involved. The inspections, going through the manuals for the ride, determining where the ride came from right before it was at the Ohio State Fair,” Wright said.
Experts from California will visit the fairgrounds in Columbus next week to inspect the damaged ride, according to Wright.
