SPRINGFIELD — Fire crews in Springfield have extinguished a residential fire that broke out on W. Columbia Avenue Friday evening.
Crews were dispatched to the area of W. Columbia Avenue and N. Western Street just before 11:00 p.m. Friday night.

Initial scanner traffic indicated that this was a second alarm was issued for the fire.
Regional dispatch confirmed all occupants had been evacuated and no one was injured.
