DAYTON — Crews responded to reports of heavy smoke coming from a building on Free Pike in Dayton Saturday morning.
Dayton Fire was called out to the 4100 block of Free Pike around 5:47 a.m. Saturday.

District Fire Cheif David Wright tells us crews extinguished a small fire inside the structure soon after they arrived.
Arson crews are investigating the scene to determine a cause.
There have been no reported injuries at this time according to crews on the scene.
Due to the building being mostly brick, there was no real structural damage according to Wright.
