KETTERING — Significant damage was reported to a Kettering apartment building after a fire broke out in the structure early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 1300 block of Devon Avenue around 5 a.m. Wednesday and reported flames were coming through the roof of the building, according to initial reports.
It was not immediately known if any injuries were reported.

According to a Kettering city spokesperson, the intersection of Wilmington Pike and Devon Avenue is expected to be shut down for a few hours, likely through most of the morning commute.
