Multiple houses damaged, 1 a total loss after fire in Dayton

DAYTON — Crews are investigating after multiple houses caught fire in Dayton Saturday.

Crews were called to the 100 block Deeds Avenue to reports of a fire around 5:45 a.m., according to Dayton Fire Captain Brad French.

French said a total of three houses were involved in the fire.

The primary house involved in the fire eventually collapsed, the houses on either side of it were also damaged.

No one was injured or displaced due to the fire, French said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
