Video from the scene showed fire hoses leading into the house as crews work to put out the fire.
Dayton Fire Department investigators determined the fire was accidentally caused by “discarded smoking materials,” according to Captain Brad French.
French said the house was occupied at the time of the fire and that the residents were forced to stay somewhere else for the remainder of the night.
No one was injured in the fire.
In total, fire crews were on scene of this fire for approximately 90 minutes, according to French.
