UPDATE @ 7:20 p.m. Sept. 26:
An RTA pole that was knocked down in a Thursday night crash did not disrupt service.
Crews inspected the pole but determined it was not currently in use by RTA, but was in use by the city of Dayton as a street light.
UPDATE @ 9:50 p.m.: An RTA pole fell into a front yard tonight after it was knocked over during a head-on collision.
The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of Watervliet and Woodbine avenues.
All injuries were minor, with crash victims treated at the scene for scrapes and bruises.
Watervliet Avenue remains shut down in both directions until RTA can make repairs.
FIRST REPORT
A head-on crash tonight knocked down an RTA pole and has blocked Watervliet Avenue in both directions.
The collision happend around 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of Watervliet and Woodbine avenues.
Police put up yellow tape around the accident scene.
