OHIO — Gov. Mike DeWine announced a new sports order for Ohio allowing all fall sports, including contact sports, to continue.

The Ohio High School Athletic Association shared its return to play recommendations to member schools this afternoon, which includes 22 pages of detailed information on testing protocols and action plans should an athlete test positive.
Schools that would like to have fall sports, but would rather push the season to the spring may do so.
Family of athletes and band members will be the only spectators allowed in the stands, but schools will have the final decision on fan policies, DeWine said.

In addition to the return-to-play plan, OHSAA also released a pledge form for student athletes to sign asking them to care for their own health and take responsibility to reduce the spread of the virus.
