A man was taken by CareFlight to a hospital Saturday after being seriously injured while working on heavy machinery in Pike Twp.
Emergency crews responded at approximately 2 p.m. to the 9800 block of Ayres Pike, which is north of New Carlisle.
Aaron Massie, 56, was working on a skid loader when the machine's front forks dropped, breaking his collar bone, according to a family member.
Massie was flown to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition Sunday night.
