The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium announced it is “strongly encouraging” visitors to wear masks indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
The zoo’s recommendation comes after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recent changes to some of its masking guidelines, suggesting even vaccinated people wear masks in areas where COVID-19 transmission is high.

The zoo said masks will be required for some designated tours regardless of vaccination status for the health and safety of the animals.
