DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: Some scattered clouds around this evening will linger into the night. Temperatures will fall into the lower 40s by daybreak. Winds diminish a bit, too.

TUESDAY: A dry start to the day for many, but a few passing sprinkles or light showers may pass through the northern Miami Valley. Clouds increase through the day and becoming breezy to windy. Temperatures will reach the middle to upper 50s in Dayton, 40s to the north, and 60s to the south.

A strong cold front will bring a rain into the area from northwest to southeast.

After sunset rain showers will mix and change to snow.

Elevated and grassy surfaces will see a light accumulation up to an inch in the Dayton area and points south. Northwest of Dayton 1-2″ will be possible.

There will be a light accumulation of slush possible on the roads but pavement will likely be warm enough to stop any big road issues.

Cloudy skies and windy at times through the day. A few spotty rain showers or flurries may return for the afternoon/evening. Highs in the middle 40s.
