The full Hunter's Moon will shine bright tonight, and a clear sky will make it a sight to see.

Near sunset, the moon will rise at 6:40 p.m. in the Dayton area. This means it will be big and bright all night long. The name Hunter's moon is given to the first full moon that follows the Harvest moon. The Harvest moon is the moon closest to the fall equinox.
This year, the Harvest moon was about two weeks after the equinox, making it very late. Since the Harvest moon was so late, so is the Hunter’s moon.
