City of Xenia to host Neighbor Night Out

XENIA — The city of Xenia is preparing for it’s final Neighborhood Night Out of the year, according to the city.

It’s scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Shawnee Elementary School on E. Ankeney Mill Road.

There will be a free boxed dinner for the first 300 people who attend the event.

The goal is to give visitors the opportunity to connect with local organizations within the community.

There will be free food, music, fun for the kids, information and resources from in and around the city.

The Xenia Fire Department will have its own booth to discuss CPR education while Xenia Police will have its SWAT and DARE vehicles on display as well as one if its new patrol vehicles.
