City of Dayton to hold ‘grand unleashing’ of new dog park

DAYTON — Today, the City of Dayton is set to hold a ribbon-cutting, celebrating the city’s latest dog park.

The ceremony is set to kick off around 10:00 a.m. for the Triangle Dog Park on Ridge Avenue, south of Embury Park Road.

The park will have separate fenced spaces for large and small dogs.

Mayor Jeffrey J. Mims, Jr., neighborhood leaders, and other city officials will join dog owners to celebrate the new park.

Shelters, a paved trail, restrooms for dog owners, and a water supply for dogs will also be featured at the park.
