One person was seriously injured early Monday in a single-car crash.
The crash was reported around 1:10 a.m. in the 8500 block of Walnut Grove-Clark County Road near Dayton-Brandt Road, according to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.
George W. Szima Jr. of near Casstown lost control of his vehicle and struck a large rock and then a tree, according to authorities. Excessive speed and alcohol and suspected as being contributing factors in the crash.
Te drivwe was taken to Miami Valley Hospital and he is listed in critical condition.
CareFlight was called to the crash near the border between Miami and Clark counties.
