Crews extinguish car fire, reopen NB I-75 lanes in Miamisburg

Car fire reported on I-75 North near Dayton Mall exit

Emergency crews blocked lanes on northbound I-75 in Miamisburg after a car fire broke out Thursday morning.

Firefighters were dispatched to the northbound lanes of  I-75 near state Route 725 around 10:30 a.m.

Emergency crews blocked the left and center lanes for around 45 minutes before all lanes reopened by 11:30 a.m.

Car fire reported on I-75 North near Dayton Mall exit

The fire broke out in the engine compartment however no injuries were reported.
