BEAVERCREEK — A bomb squad was called to investigate an object found in a Beavercreek neighborhood Friday afternoon.
Police were called to respond to the area of Coy Drive and Shakertown Road, according to initial emergency scanner traffic.
News Center 7 crews reported seeing the Dayton Bomb Squad on the scene.

A resident in the area told News Center 7 that crews were digging up ground to lay cable when they found a possible explosive device.
Police on scene said an X-Ray machine was used to determine the object was not active and it was deemed to not be a threat.
