Bengals extend head coach Zac Taylor through 2026

CINCINNATI — Just days after the Cincinnati Bengals played for the chance at an NFL Championship, the team has extended head coach Zac Taylor through 2026.

“He’s a good young coach,” said Bengals Team President Mike Brown. “Zac has come into the league and worked to develop the foundations for a winning program that can be successful over time. The fruits of Zac’s efforts were seen this year, and Zac is well-regarded by our players and coaches.”

Taylor led the 10-7 Bengals to Super Bowl LVI after the team clinched its first playoff victory since the late 80s and their third AFC Championship.

Additional details on Taylor’s contract extension were not immediately available.

The Bengals will kick off the 2022-2023 season late summer. The team is slated to play its typical AFC North rivals and also will have games against key AFC opponents including Kansas City, Buffalo and Tennessee
