So what's normal anyway?
Ohio is the 9th most Normal state in the nation according to Business Insider. The company looked at national data and compared it to each state, things like average household size, to how many languages are spoken in the home, to average commute time. 29 factors in all.
Business Insider says Ohio is normal because, among other things, the ratio of married people matches the national average, and Ohio is close to the national average on two demographic indicators: people identifying as two or more races (Ohio: 2%, U.S.: 2.1%) and people identifying as black (Ohio: 12.1%, U.S.: 12.3%).
