An attempted break-in occurred at the Ohio Loan Co. located at 1171 W. Third St. early Sunday morning.
Crews were responding to a burglary alarm when they noticed the front window to the loan building had been shattered, according to a Dayton Police report. A portion of the broken window had blood on it, but it appeared no entry was made due to a cage behind the glass window.
Crews later were dispatched to the 200 block of South Kilmer Avenue on a suspicious person.
He was unsure of where he was, how he got there or how he suffered the injury.
