Amber Alert cancelled after 5-month-old boy located in northern Ohio

MANSFIELD — UPDATE 5:15 p.m.:

The Amber Alert has been cancelled and the child has been located by the Mansfield Police Department, authorities said.

INITIAL STORY:

An Amber Alert has been issued for a child who was abducted by his grandmother, who left a suicide note, police said.

Law enforcement are looking for 5-month-old Carter Lewis. He is 21 inches tall, weighs 16 pounds, has brown hair and his eye color was not immediately known.

Lewis was left with his grandmother at 519 McPherson Street in Mansfield, Ohio.

The suspect is Shelly Willey, 51. She is a white female about 5-foot-5 and weighing around 190 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

The vehicle involved is a grey 2015 Dodge Journey with Ohio License plate DZG5982

Anyone who sees the vehicle, child or suspect should call 911.
