Overnight: A few showers or storms gradually taper off after 2 a.m., Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Clouds will break some toward morning. It will be warm and muggy with temperatures dropping to around 70 degrees by morning.

Thursday: Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast with warm, breezy and muggy conditions. While there is an isolated chance for a shower or storm during the day, a greater threat for storms will arrive in the evening. A few storms could be strong in the evening. Temperatures will top out in the upper 80s.

Friday: Partly cloudy skies will start the day with a few pop-up showers and storms in the afternoon. highs will be in the middle 80s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy skies and slightly cooler conditions start the weekend. The humidity also will drop a bit. Highs will be near 80 degrees.
