35th Annual ‘Historic Springboro Holiday Festival’ kicks off this weekend

SPRINGBORO — The Springboro Community Foundation will be hosting the 35th Annual Christmas in Springboro Festival this weekend.

The event opened with a tree lighting ceremony on Friday and s set to run until 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, according to event organizers.

Event organizers say the event provides shopping from local businesses along Main Street as well as over 75 craft vendors.

There will also be food from local vendors and a beer tent sponsored by Warped Wing.

On Saturday, Nov. 19th, there will be a 5K run/walk at 9:00 am., according to event organizers. There will also be a Christmas Parade with Grand Marshall Wendell Weimerat noon, along with children’s activities including visits from Santa throughout the weekend.

According to event organizers, each year the goal of the festival is to donate back to local charities within the community.
