DAYTON — Hundreds of players and thousands of spectators are expected to fill fields in greater Dayton today for the 34th annual adidas Warrior Soccer Classic Tournament.
The event is billed as one of the largest soccer tourneys in the country, bringing in approximately 18,000 players, family members, and spectators.
Around than 300 teams will compete at two sites; Warrior Soccer Complex and Thomas Cloud Park.

“We are proud and pleased to welcome the adidas Warrior Soccer Tournament back to our community this year,” states Jacquelyn Y. Powell, President & CEO of the Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The tournament has grown from one featuring 150 teams in 1986 to more than 300.
