Earlier this week, Congressman Mike Turner honored high school students from his district who submitted their work for the 2019 Congressional Art Competition.
Three judges that were selected by the Dayton Art Institute reviewed each piece and selected a winner.
The winning piece, Reilly Stassienko’s “Royalty Tasting the Essence of the Light Dimension” will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. Reilly is a senior at Miami Valley CTC.

Visitors from across the country will see Reilly’s piece displayed in the U.S. Capitol for the nest year. I congratulate Reilly on this huge artistic accomplishment, and thank every student who participated in this year’s competition.”
