SIDNEY — Two people were taken to the hospital after a house fire in Sidney early Sunday morning.
Multiple fire departments were called to battle a fire in the 1700 block of Letitia Drive shortly before 1 a.m., according to the Sidney Fire Department.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that a basement fire had extended into the first floor. All occupants had made it out of the home.

The two occupants were injured and were both transported to Wilson Health ER, the fire department said. Details on the extent of their injuries were not immediately released.
No injuries were reported to any firefighters or law enforcement.
The fire loss to the property is estimated $250,000, according to the fire department.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Sidney Fire Department Investigation Unit.
