Springfield post of Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 Saturday overnight.

News Center 7 initially reported that troopers closed the left two lanes on Interstate 70 westbound after a car crashed into a commercial truck just after 12 a.m., according to Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatch.
Tow trucks were able to clear the commercial truck and car from the road, dispatch said.
Interstate 70 westbound beyond US-68 was reopened after the vehicles were removed from the scene, Ohio Department of Transportation confirmed.

Springfield post of Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 Saturday overnight.
Troopers responded to Interstate 70 westbound after a car crashed into a commercial truck just after 12 a.m., Springfield post of Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatch told News Center 7.
Crews blocked the left two lanes of Interstate 70 westbound beyond US-68 to allow for the tow truck to move the commercial truck from the roadway, dispatch stated.
A tow truck for the car was en route at the time of this writing, according to dispatch.
Officials estimated the left two lanes would be blocked for another hour to allow for the tow truck on scene to move the commercial truck, dispatch said.
Medics were called to the scene, dispatch confirmed.
Victims of the crash suffered minor injuries, dispatch said. However, it was unknown whether anyone would be transported to a local hospital.
