PREBLE COUNTY — Two people were killed in a single vehicle accident Sunday morning on Pence Shewman Road in Preble County.
The driver, Michelle E. Kaufman, 45, of Eaton, drove off the right side of the road in a Hyundai Elantra when she lost control and struck a tree.
The second victim was Jerry Reeder, 41, of New Paris was the passenger.
Both victims were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash but both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Ohio State Patrol is still investigating the accident at this time.
