$20,000 wood chipper stolen in Dayton, police say

A wood chipper worth approximately $20,000 was stolen in Dayton Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Police were dispatched to the 4300 block of Valley Pike around 5:50 p.m. and were told a black and white 1998 Isuzu wood chipper was stolen from the area, according to a Dayton police report.

It was not reported whether the owner knew when the wood chipper was stolen or who could have taken it.
