Local Starbucks closes after employee tests positive for COVID-19

SPRINGBORO — A local Starbucks has closed temporarily after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The coffeehouse, located in the 800 block of Central Avenue in Springboro, will reopen early next month after the store undergoes deep cleaning, according to a Starbucks spokesperson.

Starbucks did not have immediate information on if the employee came in direct contact with customers.

“The safety and wellbeing of our partners and communities have and will continue to be our top priority as we navigate COVID-19,” said a prepared statement from Starbucks.
