Lisa Flynt’s golden eggs reported stolen

Someone apparently stole three golden eggs that were owned by the late Lisa Flynt-Fugate, the daughter of “Hustler” publisher Larry Flynt who recently died from a car crash.

Dayton police were called to the Fugate home on the east side of the city around noon Friday to investigate a theft, according to the police report.

Glen Fugate, Lisa’s husband, told police that since his wife’s death, one of her sisters has been helping her mother move out of the house, according to the report.

Fugate reported on Friday the sister removed three items from Lisa’s glass display shelf, and he told her to put them back, which she did, according to the report.

Police said after the sister, her husband and mother left the house, Fugate saw that three golden eggs, valued at $2,000 each, were missing from the display.

Fugate told police the sister must have taken them, and stated he would not press charges if the eggs are returned, according to the report.

Police said investigators interviewed the sister and she denied taking the eggs.

The sister told the officers, “It could have easily been one of the several family and friends that were in the house” since Lisa’s death, according to the report.

Lisa K. Flynt-Fugate, 47, suffered critical injuries in an Oct. 17 crash. She was put on life-support at Miami Valley Hospital but succumbed to her injuries after she was removed from life support seven days later.

Her father, Hustler publisher Larry Flynt, was on the phone with family at the hospital at the time of Lisa’s passing.
