Denver, Colorado — A small group of health care workers counter-protested at a large rally of people in favor of reopening Colorado back to normal on Sunday.
Hundreds of protesters gathered at the state Capital in Denver, demanding the state reopen and ease restrictions set in place to slow the spread of coronavirus, according to a report from CNN.
Individuals dressed in scrubs and masks were seen in photos and video standing in a crosswalk while blocking vehicles.
The workers appeared to remain silent as protesters shouted.
One video showed a woman leaning out of a window of a pickup truck shouting at the workers while holding a sign that said, “Land of the Free.”
