The trash compactor behind the Lowe’s Home Improvement store, 8421 Old Troy Pike, caught fire this afternoon.
Huber Heights firefighters responded shortly after 3 p.m. and quickly put the flames out.
The fire didn’t cause any damage to the building and there were no injuries, according to the emergency dispatch center.
